‘Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house
There was no room for guests, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that a Sleeptight sofa bed soon would be there.
Us children were nestled all snug in our comfy beds,
While the dreams of a new mattress danced in the grown ups’ heads.
And mamma in her nightie and dada in his cap
Had settled down in a comfy new Sleeptight bed for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my new memory foam bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
From my bespoke, handmade bed, I threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow,
Gave a luxurious lustre to the stylish bedding below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh bed and eight tiny reindeer.
With a little old driver so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
Wanting free local delivery on his new Sleeptight bed he came,
And he whistled and shouted and called his reindeers by name…
Now, Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer, and Vixen!
On Comet, on Cupid, on Donder and Blitzen!
From contemporary to classic mattresses and beds, all from Sleeptight,
Now dash away, dash away, dash away, with all your might!
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they see the range of beds at Sleeptight, they’ll want to buy.
So up to the house top the reindeers they flew,
With a sleigh bed full of toys and St Nicholas too.
And then in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I lay happily in my Sleeptight bunk bed and turned around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot,
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like he needed a sprung mattress for a nap.
He spoke not a word but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
He gave a nod to my stylish Sleeptight bed and up the chimney he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh bed, to his team he gave a cheer,
And away they flew for another long year.
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
Happy Christmas to all, and to all, a good Sleeptight night!
